24 Hour Help-Line
The 24-Hour Crisis Line offers immediate
help to people and families in emotional crisis.
Trained counselors provide caring emotional
support and resource referrals 24 hours a day
7 days a week. Our counselors talk with callers
about their concerns, help them sort through
their feelings, explore coping strategies and
make appropriate referrals for additional assistance.

The Intake Process
The Intake Department is responsible
for initial contact with a patient. The intake
process begins with scheduling the initial intake
appointment, by phone or in person. The Intake
Department staff will conduct a brief screening
with the client, or with the referral source.

We provide an extensive intake process
to assure appropriate and adequate information
is obtained from the patient to provide appropriate
placement and also to provide the up most personalized
care catered toward the individuals and families
needs.
This consists of:
A comprehensive alcoholism and substance abuse
history
A psycho-social assessment
A psychiatric evaluation and health screening
An educational/vocational assessment
Assessments
Our program provides a comprehensive initial
screening assessment, which is conducted to
determine whether further assessment, review
or what level of service is needed. We initially
screen for alcohol and other drug use, depression,
traumatic experiences, anxiety, excessive worries/stress,
self-harm, hyperactivity and psychotic symptoms,
eating disorders, nutritional health, educational
needs, pain and conduct disorders.
