Action Family Counseling’s Outpatient
Program is designed to serve adolescent male
and females with substance abuse related problems.
This program is aimed at those who are in need
of outpatient services to maintain abstinence
from chemical dependency and is funded through
the Drug Med-i-cal Program.
Intensive Outpatient
Action Family Counseling’s Intensive
Outpatient Program is designed to serve adult
and adolescent male and females with substance
abuse, co-occurring diagnoses and mental health
related problems. The program is aimed at those
who are in need of intensive outpatient services
to maintain abstinence from chemical dependency
and to achieve stabilization from their mental
health problems.
Partial Program
Action Family Counseling’s Partial
Program, full day (6-8) and half day (4-6) is
designed to serve adult and adolescent male
and females with substance abuse, co-occurring
diagnoses and mental health related problems.
The program is aimed at those who are in need
of partial services to maintain abstinence from
chemical dependency and to achieve stabilization
from their mental illness. The program operates
at minimum 4-8 hours a day, six days a week
at various locations. The partial program curriculum
includes 4 hours of schooling, relapse prevention,
cognitive restructuring, goal setting/ focus
groups, individual and family therapy and multifamily
group therapy.
